The trailer gives us an idea of the narrative and the genre of the film and also we can se who star's in the film and who the director of the film is, and we can see whether this is a kind of film we would like to see.

We are actually told who is starred in the film so that we know what actor is going to star in the film and we can think to ourselves whether it is going to be a good film or not and in the future if the actor is in another film, then we can decide on the bases on the actors pervious film.

The type of action we see from the film is gambling, fighting, people smoking cigarettes, glass smashing everywhere, and we see loads of diffrent camera angles like, cuts, dissloves, fades and loads of diffrent .

The clues that music give us to show what type of film it is, is by having for example, the music is kind of suspicious and that it is a action and the kind of music is to show that the film is a mystery/action.

The voice of the person gives us a clue to indicate us on the genre of the movie, and what it is going to be, for example a the actors in the film use deep voices with a very strong english acsent, and the use of slang would indicate the audience that the genre of the film will be a gangsta movie.

The information that we are given in the very last frame of the trailer is that the film that for example in the film gangster no1# the main character is saying that he is going to no1 which means that he is going to be the best and he has actually left the audience thinking what is going to happen in the film when you you watch it

The most effective thing is the trailer i think this is because if the audience see the trailer, then it can change their decision around. this is because they dont know what the film is about and can see the trailer so they can get a brief idea of what the film is going to be about.

I would expect to see trailers in the breaks of t.v programs which i really enjoy and watch alot because it give us the brief story line about the film and what is goint to happen in the film.
